Bought this the other day, awesome little pistol.

Thought I'd put some pics up, might be of some use if anyone's thinking of a mini 'pup.

If anyone wants other specifics, let me know.

Obviously this is just a 'rough' measurement guide to give anyone an idea, please don't take it as gospel. It's more deigned to let you decide if these may be suitable for a mini pup.

Personally I'm thinking a mini Colibri almost. Obviously you'll need a cut out for the swivel BUT regarding the hammer, you could actually bury that under the stock and fit a cocking lever directly to the side of it, so it sticks out the side of the stock and you'd cock it in almost the same movement as cocking a Colibri!

Could be awesome. The air tube and trigger guard has even got a similar look!

Cracking break down , So it looks from the tape measure like the barrel is 30cm so making a pup out of it could be fine with the power wound up .
I very much like the idea of a mini colibri would not be bothered about a cocking mech just a cut out to access the hammer .
I have a good dig around the net and can not find anything about a regulated version .
Im of to find smk contact details and drop a quick email on the subject .Now hurry up and get a stock made :)

Cheers Dave, think you'd like it mate. I can't get over how well it shoots. I expected to be cleaning the barrel and such (P10 style) but I've even shot 3 shots through one hole at 6m. I know it's a bit of luck but having put hundreds of shots through a proper target pistol (FAS 6004) I've not had such good results!

Because of the way the spring housing bolts on, there's plenty of option to make a new hammer spring frame and totally change the hammer setup for a more normal rifle one too.

There's bound to be something for them, they're going to be popular as some places are doing them for £150!

There's loads of potential for mods on these. Little Bullpup kit would be pretty cool.

I'll be picking up some walnut blanks next week.

There's couple places were doing them for that. I know Kirkless guns were and some chap on bbs got the price matched somewhere else. I'd imagine most places can do them for that as a couple of them have.

Have you done up the bleed screw on the pump lol

Seriously though, if there's no pressure on the pump then there's (like Dave said) a leak between the pump and the O ring on the fill probe. Check all connections back to the pump.

You could wrap electrical tape around the hole in the fill probe to seal it and give that a pump, at least show you if it's the gun or the pump. But if the gun is saying 100bar and your not getting pressure on the pump then sounds like the pump or whip is at fault.

ive just noticed the leak is coming from the Coupler Socket conected to the hose.no matter how tight it is it still leaks ,should there be an oring between them.

Depending on the fitting you can use a dowty washer or if there's no shoulder ptfe tape on the threads.

I'll check there now.

Yeah, didn't pay much for my CP1-M from Selesia

Not a patch on the PP700W though IMO.

Just a shame it doesn't come with nicer grip and open sights.

A few have modded them to PCP on the Chinese airgun forum, although looks more trouble than it's worth. They're ok as a donor as they're easy to work on but quality is average. You can get the SMK version (slightly better finished) for £129 if you look around.
I'm considering making a carbon silenced shroud for mine, doubt I'll go to a PCP conversion though.

Think the Colibri style is what I'm going to go for. Just with a different angle on the grip.

Posted Image

Might go for more of a cut out, not sure. Or maybe just a deeper detail cut out similar to the Colibri.

Posted Image

The pink dots show what I'm thinking for the cocking action. Drill a hole through the end of the pp700 cocking lever (so its reversible) and bolt a small alloy cylinder like the Colibri's cocking lever on to the side of the pp700 cocking lever. Just drill and tap the new cocking side lever and bolt through the pp700 lever.

What I'll do then is cut a groove in the stock so the new cocking action will be in a downward angled cocking motion with a slight arc with a pull back on a side cocking lever. This will be on the RHS of the stock as it will move when fired obviously!

Posted Image

There will also need to be a hex bolt each side of the grip to secure the action to the stock. This is going to require drilling and taping the hammer spring frame to accept a bolt, which can be a flat hex bolt like the Colibri counter sunk in the top of the grip. The original bottom fixing for the pp700 can also remain.

Hoping to get it planed to thickness tomorrow. But I have loads on.

Best bet for a quick fix on these I reckon is to get a rat catcher stock and bond it to the pp700 grip.

James,

That's a good idea but not my thing. Think I will do similar to you with the colibri style, I hope you dont mind. I'm going laminate on this one.
